What moment in SOA made you choke on what you were eating, or stop playing and laugh your ass off? Mine was when I did 1042 damage on Bodhi and her little buddies after her telling me I would die a slow painful death. Or when, with I called Korgan a drunk midget that spent more time in bar's then in the battlefield.

SPOLERS
. . . . .. . . .. Edwin... a.... enough said. ;) |
One of the dialogue options when speaking to an old man underneath the Copper Coronet ;)

"Now to power!!"
Never fails to amaze me! :D |
"What's with those imps, anyway?"
Or a random dialogue event with Nalia.... ....We're clearing the last level of the de'Arnisse Keep, we've just killed TorGal and his cronies, and we're standing in a chapel littered with smoking rubble. Over to one side lies Lord de'Arnise, slain before we could save him. Oh, well, might as well make the best of things....I see a container that might hold something interesting, but it's locked. Me- "Hey Nalia." Nalia- "What can I do to help?" Me- "Come over here and pick this lock." So Nalia comes to the altar, steps over the freshly slaughtered corpse of her father, picks the lock on the family treasury, takes a look inside, and says, Nalia- "Is that all? I-I'd hoped for more." I was laughing my ass off! :D |
Any dialogue involving Jan. (Mazzy to Jan:" Shutupshutupshutup!!!" :D ) Minsc talking to the Pirate Lord and the Beholder in Fish Town were really funny as well. Another one of my favorites (*Throne of Bhaal spoilers*)
\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ Jan refering to Sarevok as 'Binky'. That one just cracked me up. ("You'd better not be talking to me, Gnome") [ 06-27-2004, 08:04 PM: Message edited by: Dreamer128 ] |
The spectator beholder is a classic. "The first thing I am going to do is kill those damn imps."
|
The dialogue when Viconia asks why Jan is in your party.
The story about the throne in Ust Natha. |
My favorite so far occurred when my assassin character had returned to De'Arnise Keep (I have the Multiple Stronghold component installed). I was informed that some merchant wanted to see me about his shipment being robbed. He was very upset (and so was I, since it wasn't MY guys that had robbed him ;) ). I was mildly sympathetic until he DEMANDED that I pay for his stolen goods or he would have the other merchants boycott my land.
Well, demanding money from my assassin AND threatening him in the same breath just wasn't a good strategy. One of the dialogue options (that I had actually never noticed before) was for me to tell the guards to drag this impudent merchant out into the courtyard and execute him as a warning to all the other merchants who would dare to threaten my land with a boycott. The last I heard from the merchant was his pleading and screaming for me to change my mind as the guards drug him out the door. |
The dialogue with Korgan and Viconia when you arrive in Brynnlaw...Korgan just isn't cut out to be a sailor.
