Just a few questions of frustration

I have found montaron (the bird) mand xzar seems too busy to talk.
I have also done the unseeing eye quest the guy at temple of helm same problem
I am in the temple amaunator for umar hills quest and have all 3 ritual pages, the tome, the wardstone, and 2 parts of the 3 part circle, I can not get the main statue to talk to me and do not know if the other statue needs me to put something in her arms. Where is the 3rd piece and how do I get it, and what do I do with the statue who will not speak.

Hi Cosmo, sounds like you have encountered one of the more common SoA bugs.

If you patch your game with the official patch, these problems should dissapear.

Thank you for the help, but what about the little problem I am having at the ruins finding the third piece of the circular puzzle and talking to the main statue.

As far as the X character appears busy issue, ALWAYS always, patch any game you have. I kinda make it a point to check for patches to any game I buy, and continue checking for new patches every now and then.

The third piece is kinda hard to find.

Anyways, Past the room with the letters all over the floor, back where you run into the bone golum, There's a room where you should have encountered a shade, or shadow, or whatever it was. In that room the third piece in on the floor in one of the back corners of the room. It might not look it, but trust me, it's there.

Firestorm, cosmo already has that piece.

cosmo: Install the official patch. The "X appears busy" problem is a known bug, affecting pretty much everybody who hasn't patched their game. Install the patch, and the Statue will talk to you and (if you reply properly) give you the missing piece you need to complete your quest.

I got the statue to talk but Xzar is still busy and so is the highlander priest. This is starting to piss me off.

Starting to? I probably would have been pissed some time ago.

Are you fully patched? As stated above, the proper order is given in the forum FAQ, but here it is again just for convenience:

If you do not have ToB:
1. SoA
2. Official SoA patch
3. BaldurDash SoA Fixpack

If you do have ToB:
1. SoA
2. ToB
3. Official ToB patch
4. BaldurDash ToB Fixpack

If all else fails, you may have to start a new game from scratch, but you will probably be able to kick your game back into shape with either the patches and/or the wonder that is Shadowkeeper.
