cuz it gives a few problems with ME (game starts lagging after a few hours or less)

Anyone has XP and Baldurs gate (II)?

THe game starts to lag on my computer too but I only have a windows 98. I think it is to do with your RAM (not sure) it eventualy gets used up in the movement of all the files and it also gets stuck in the cache file

I have win2000 now, but i had winxp and bg and it worked perfectly. Anyway, the problems you mention are probably (as Midget Gems said) RAM problems, not OS problems.

I already posted a question on the lagging here and someone said it was my ME edition (incidently I never had the problems back while I used Win 95.)

I have XP and have not had any problems at all. The only crash I have had was from me trying to CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("kivan"); after he had died and past the point he could have been resurrected. I'm sure I could have done something some how but it just kept crashing everytime I tried to go to another area... Of well.

If you want to try and adjust the RAM problem check www.zdnet.com and a program called ram idle.

Aurican, shouldn't cheat.

Ruin's the game. Although I hate it when my characters die, it makes the game better in the end
