Hello all,
I've played the SOA and TOB twice. I love it. But I am no longer able to go to the Interplay or Black Isle sites? Are they no longer up? Has anyone else had this problem? I am especially trying to find out where i can get a CD2 for SOA. Mine is scratched and will no longer load, but I can't find the game in stores anymore.
Any help would be appreciated.

Craig

Bioware, and not Black Isle, made BG2 and their site was up yesterday, probly still is today.

Didn't Black Isle close down? I mean the company not the website. Or was it Bioware? Interplay should still be up, I think.

I believe Black Isle closed down, but BioWare should still be up.

Yep, just checked, Black Isle is no more, bioware is up, and interplay seems lacking in the way of a website. Don't know if they're gone or not, but I don't recall hearing about them closing up shop.

The interplay site was my fav for forums i have used in the past. I guess it's been 3 weeks or so that neither of those sites have worked for me anymore. Thanks for checking for me. Anyway, where can i pick up a BG1&2 disk set, and a TB disk? During a recent move, my disk 2(BG2) got scratched, and i can't find my TB or my BG1 disks. sooooooo, I can't play anything until I pick up some more.
Thanks again,
Craig

I think that some stores might still have BG2 on budget. Or ebay probably has some. Anyone know if amazon has any left?

Other than buying a new copy, interplay is your only other legal solution, they should replace a disc, possibly for a fee, I remember them changing the rule s on that a while back.

Or, you may be able to get the disc resurfaced somewhere, generaly its only the protective covering and not the data surface thats damaged so the disc can be repaired. Ask at your local games store.

I don't know if this would fulfill your need, but you should be able to find a copy of any missing website on the "Wayback Machine" (a website that archives all past versions, of all known websites).

Here is the WAYBACK MACHINE:
http://www.archive.org/

The forums probably wouldn't work on the Wayback Machine, but it would let you view the site.

yeah, that forum was quite nice and fun, in spite of certain spelling police It just suddenly disappeared and probably won't come back.
