I have succesfully installed SoA and ToB with all the patches mentioned on this forum. I just need to understand something, do the patches from ToB automatically patch the problems with SoA?

Also there are so many cheats for SoA(e.g. using swords that are exclusive to Paladins even though my char is a fighter)... where can I find the cheats for ToB? Can I install the cheats from SoA and play without any conflicts or any kinds of trouble with ToB. I'm not playing ToB until I finish SoA. If I am able to install these cheats for SoA, will I be able to use them when I start playing ToB?

I downloaded "BG2TOB'Safe'XPCapRemover" cap remover for ToB... if I install this now, can I 'spend' all 40 levels in SoA or will it only kick in when I start ToB?

Yes, the ToB patches include all aspects of the SoA patches, with some changes for compatability.

I assume the cheats you refer to are the baldurdash ones, which are not supposed to work in ToB. Some will work with no problems, some wont. Its a matter of experimentation, and some educated guesses as to what will conflict. A new version of a weapon shouldnt cause any problems though.

The XP remover will kick in instantly. There is still a cap, but it is so high now that you almost certainly will not hit it.
