I think this is a probably THE worst bug iv encountered so far.iv had little dialog ones but this is the worst.A small one which i am wondering about isthe Items Uprade mod taking over the UB diablog for kalahs lamp.Anyway,onto what minsc said.Upon entering the city gates,Minsc started talking to himself and involving Anomens name in the dialog when Anomen isnt even in my group.Then minsc mensioned how much he loved me and said Aeries name.Then told me he loved me again.Why is minsc inlove with me,please help,its VERY worrying,and i dont want my romance with jaheria to be ruined either.Help?

You're dialogue file is messed up. Did you ever back up the dialogue.tlk file?

I didnt back up my dialog file,but i have made a copy of it from my brothers PC over to mine but not right into the BG2 directory becuase i didnt know if thats what i should do.Is it?and he doesnt have the banter and flirt packs which i do,does that matter?Do i have to re-install them?


EDIT -To lennon -I have Ease of Use and relised that fact minsc had Aeries love talk wont matter becuase of Ease of use,then i have Ashes of embers,UB8,Ghareth,Items upgrade,banter pack,flirt pack,Nightmares beauty pack(dont see that thisll effact the speech though) and i think maybe a few more but i dont know.

Did you just copy the dialogue file from the other computer to your computer? If that file had mods on it that you didn't have, then your game will continue to be messed up. If it's just like the original dialogue.tlk (no mods installed), then just reinstall all your mods in the correct order (check the sticky at the top of this forum for the order) and everything should be fine.

I had to re-install the whole game becuase i hadnt backed up the dialog file.Still,having minsc tell me he loves me was kinda funny.
