Recently, NiGHTMARE overhauled all of the NPC portraits for BG2. Scars were healed, tattoos removed, and piercings were subdued. Glamor Shots is quite strict, it seems.

So, now you, too, can enjoy the airbrushed Athkatla gang via the ease of a WeiDU installer.

I like the scars, but those portraits are nice. You're a modder, Ice? Can you make NPC and/or Romance Mods? I'm willing to pay by paypal once I get the story romance for Bryan done.

Well, yes, I am a modder, but I'm pretty wrapped up in my current mod, Unfinished Business, at the moment. Your best bet, if you don't want to learn how to mod for yourself, is to post your ideas at a modding community. Someone, if they like the idea, might take it up into production.

Hmmm that is strange...

I wanted to see what they looked like before I installed them, so I unzipped them to the desktop first. However, all the portraits look exactly the same as they normally do. Is this because when the DOS installation box came up it obviously couldn't find the dialog.tlk file?

Some of then *need* to be scarred, but I like Aerie better like this. Though in one of them the eyes look obviously wrong... And I'm sure I don't have to name names.

I also REALLY like the new Imoen with the longer hair that isn't quite so pink.

I really like the Minsc/Boo,i laughed really hard at that.Jaheira looks better too,but Keldorn and minsc and other warriors look better scarred IMHO.

I like Aerie better with longer hair myself. After looking closely, I noticed she did have short hair and that doesn't fit her, IMO. She seems like the type to let it keep growing.

I liked the tatoos on NPCs though. I thought it gave them a bit of personality.
