Came across something interesting right now:
I did the Spider Bane quest and got the Web Sack from PaiNa.
As I have no real use for it I tried to sell it at the Adventurer's Mart and whohoo Ribald paid me 45,000gp for it (Rep 17, CHAR 23).
I was a bit puzzled and rebought it (for about 14,000gp). After that it was only worth 4500, which I assume is the right price.
Is the moeny boost intended or is this just a strange bug?

The same merchant is selling something for a lower price than he is buying it for? That must be a bug.

Unless it's that Enge fellow, which would finally explain why he is in the game at all.

But he's only doing it once, so it could be intended ... somehow ... I guess [img]graemlins/uhoh2.gif[/img]
Also it's Ribald who's normally not known for his bad sense of economy (like a certain Sahuagin priestess is ;) )

I think you'll find that the 4500 gp version you bought back only has 1 charge, while it had 20 (IIRC) when you initially sold it, which (while still strange & inflated) accounts for the price difference.

That's what I initially thought, but why would a container have charges?

It is a bug. i sold at deidres the ring of invisibility for 12000 and bought it for less, then i saw that the price dropped.
