It occurred to me that Yoshimo is basically (maybe Haer Dalis', but Yoshi's a given) the only opponent you can actually customize in the game, by levelling him up, giving him equipment, etc. before you have to fight him at Spellhold. So, with that in mind, how would you equip him to make him as challenging as possible?

Obviously, taking him with you ASAP is good, to get him as high a level as possible. Then... I dunno... give him Potions of Invisibility & Extra-Healing, the Shadow Armor (from Mae'Var), maybe have him dual wield Celestial Fury & his own +1 Katana? Boots of Speed, Cloak of the Sewers... will he actually use something like a Potion of Firebreath or the Book of Infinite Spells? I don't think I've ever seen him use a Bow against me, even if I left him with one.

Any thoughts?

If you really want to customize your opponents use Shadowkeeper ;)
I don't know if he'll use them, but give him Oils of Speed. Surely makes a difference with Glacias. And what about the Gaxxring for better regen?

the gaxxring would be nice...since he hides and therefore can regenerate...maybe make him dual wield

does he really use potions and items in quickslots??? I dont know!
