Hi, all. I'm having some trouble with my Jaheria romance. She keeps asking me about how I felt after that battle, but I can't get past that. I've done the first of the Dermin quests, but he doesn't show up to finish that set out. I've passed the time outside (both game and real) and she just keeps asking me. Is there something that I can do (or a code to use) that will keep it going, or am I just screwed? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I got stuck here too. No fix anyone sent me ever worked. I eventually deleted the game. :(

The Jaheira Romance is <u>notoriously</u> buggy. Some lucky snots say that it works just fine for them, but it seems that the majority of folks always need to break out the cheats in order to get the Romance (and her Quest) to continue. Speaking for myself, I have NEVER seen the end of either storyline--and it's definitely not for lack of knowhow, or for lack of trying.

I have that permanently burned into my brain. I can hear it now.
"How.... ::clears throat:: How did the last battle make you feel? Did you enjoy it?"

In theory, patches can fix that. But I have yet to complete the cursed Jahiera romance.

I've always amazed and amused reading all the "stuck" reports about Jaheira Romance. My own experience is that playing with SoA/ToB (full install) and the two ToB official patches, no romance ever has problems (since the latest ToB patch I've played all three female romances and couple more times with Jaheira). With the ToB patches, none of the Jaheira improve or fix pack is needed.
so, for me, the first thing to check is whether the game gets the latest patch. If fully patched, then check what mods you might have installed at the same time. Since I've never have problem with Jaheira romance with not-modded, fully patched SoA/ToB, my guess is that the various mods out there either cause the problems or make the glitches easier to occur. OR, I'm just one of those lucky SNOTs.

Well, good to know I'm not alone. I belive that I only have the xp cap added, and I have the full install. I just threw in the TOB full patch from sorcerers place, but maybe I need to start a new game with it. The only other thing I've done is been using ShadowKeeper. I guess I'll start a new game and follow the romance guide to the letter and see if that works. Thanks.

There's a patch out, 'unofficial,' that fixes the romance problem. If you can't find it, I could try and dig it up from my hard drive for you.

I tried a new game and I still can't get the Dermin quest to spawn. Do you think that you can find that patch? I've had a hard time finding it but I don't know if I'm looking in the right spot. Thanks.
