I know it's been done.

It's also VERY difficult. Good luck.

Oh, as a tip, I'm almost sure that a dagger or axe class would be needed, so that you have some sort of ranged weapons. A Kensai will have a hard time killing things on his own due to very poor armour, and few summons to take the heat.

Then again, who am I to talk...

If you are going to solo a kensai, there are your friends: potions of defense and invulnerability, which both offer armor classes of 0 just like FullPlate +1. USE em!

You are going to make your FIRST solo attempt as a pureclassed Kensai?

Okay.

Some questions.

1) With or without ToB?
2) With or without XP Cap Remover?
3) With or without Mods?

I recently did BG + ToB through with a kensai + party. My kensai sure did die a lot, but man, he *really* could swing a sword! I had Sarevok, Keldorn, Aerie, Imoen and Cernd.. and with this 6 character party, my dual-katana kensai had approximately 50% of all kills!

One bit of advice that I can give you is that you should take a thief into your party for a little while, let him/her take a few potions of master thievery to pickpocket Ribald Barteman in the Adventurer's Mart for the Ring of Regeneration. You're gonna need it!

Hyvä aikan! :D

Maybe I'm a bit of a stickler about soloing, but solo means solo. All the time (except for those few seconds where Imoen "invites" herself into your party). No pickpocketing the ring in that case.

However (SOME SPOILERS):
</font>
 • Potions are your friends. Buy/loot them from any and all sources. JrKASperov is absolutely right about potions of defense and invulnerability, but you will need healing, booster potions, protection potions (clarity, etc.), and so on. These make up for your lack of magic.</font>
 • Patience is a virtue for a soloist. When you come across a group of creatures, use the fog of war to your advantage to lure 1-2 creatures out at a time. With no way to take down stuff like Protection from Magic Weapons, etc. you may need to trigger enemy mages' contingencies then run away and wait it out.</font>
 • Any items that summon creatures is an absolute priority. Staff of Air, Spider Figurine, Efreet Bottle, etc. are worth getting, and worth getting right away. The kensai is best as a flank attacker, and summons essentially give you a tank that distracts the enemy and allows you to attack without taking hits</font>
 • In Nalia's keep, there is the shield amulet. Get it, and use it. It essentially gives you scale mail AC, which considering the no armor restriction is a great find. Also, don't be afraid to sell it and buy it back to replenish charges.</font>
 • Consider taking proficiency slots in flails, especially if you are going to ToB. DoE is a great off-hand weapon to help anyone soak up damage, and FoA is actually a solid main weapon (crushing damage to handle clay golems, energy damage to soak through stoneskins, etc.).</font>
Just some general pointers...

One more important point, a cardinal golden rule for any soloist.

Get the Boots of Speed ASAP.

Okay
I got TOB, TDD (mod) and exp cap of level 50.
What about weapons?
Is there possibility to have only swords? I hate flails
And what is DoE???
And yes this is my FIRST time soloing.
