Well it's like this , as a bard (skald) i casted a familiar (a nice psuedo dragon :D ) and put him in my backpack.
Now the problem is that i had that vision where Imoen shows me around 'Candlekeep',when i woke up out of the vision i wanted to release my familiar (i infact did release him) but the point is it got stuck in the vision!!!! while it was in my backpack! I'm quite impressed that it actually can do that! Though now i can't get it out of that vision anymore!! :'(
Has anyone experienced this?? and maybe knows how to get it back again?

This sounds a lot like a bug in a later chapter. So this is the part where I ask if you're fully patched.
The rabbit... That's for Neutrals, yes? I don't think it has an inventory per se... If you want what it's pick pocketed you have to ask it. Nicely. You can't cast spells through your familiars in this game. To get it in your pack you talk to it.
(Since it has a green circle, the default thing to do is to take command of it when you click on it. Click on the 'speech' icon when your character is selected and then go talk to your familiar.)

You lost your familiar due to a glitch in the game where transistions from area to area occur. There is a chance that your familiar may get lost during these transisions and so your familiar should be backpacked when not needed as a rule of thumb.

But you can't take the familiar out of your backpack in the vision. It sounds like the bug that is found near the end of Chapter Four, yes? It's also found at the very end of SoA when trying to transition into ToB.
Patch up and remember these rules:

*When you run into a bug, do NOT save over anything. Create a new file if you must.

*When you run into a bug, do NOT leave the area. This might trigger an autosave, and that would make you stuck with the bug.

*Always have at least three saves: Quick save, autosave, and a manual save. The manual save is something you can back up anywhere from once a week to once every few days, but it ensures that you'll have a fresh file to use if worse comes to worse, in terms of bugs.

*Have fun! It's a great game.

I shall do that! ;) thanks it's funny you mention that you should always have three saves :D i always have a couple of saves mostly four. i justed wanted to know if i could do something about it without patches. Hmm it looks like i'll just have to use an earlier save :( unfortunetly. But thanks for the help

There's no reason why you shouldn't want the patch. It fixes so many things in the game that it's essential to have. You should also get the SoA fixpack (only if you have SoA) or get the ToB Fixpack (only if you have ToB installed, don't install both of these fixpacks). Some parts of the game (like romances) can't be completed with out the patch.</font>
