I told Nalia that I'd help her when I had a chance. Did I lose out on this quest? Is there any way to get it back so I can go there?

Armen 03-19-2004 09:20 AM

we'll need more details to help

have you been to the keep map already?

have you left the city at all yet?

is it the map or the keep itself you can' get into?

Odruith 03-19-2004 09:23 AM

Have you gone through the city gates district?

If the d'arnise hold is on your map and you can't get there, it may be because you have to leave from the gate district. otherwise, you may have a bug that is stopping your map from updating.

if so, you'll probably need to change one of the variables in shadow keeper.

<span style="color:#FF0000">NOTE: You have to walk through the city gate in the City Gate District.

The keep map is greyed out so I can't even get there at all.
I've only been to the Slums, (all quests done)Graveyard District and the Docks so far. I just heard that you get tons of XP and $$ from Nalia's quest so I figured what the heck.

On another subject....what is Shadow Keeper?

Shadow Keeper is an editing program in which you can edit your character(s). Give 'em fancy equipment, raise your stats.

If you haven't left the city yet, just do as Dundee suggests. Travel to the City Gates first, and then you will be able to get outside the city. It's realistic, but a bit weird. Many newbie Baldur's Gate 2 players face this 'problem'.

JrKASperov 03-19-2004 01:04 PM

It's not realistic or anything like that. You can just as well go to the Keep without actually having to go through that gate. Why actually play it when you go through it anyway? Does it HAVE to be played? No. It wóuld be realistic, if you only found out that region was there by going through the gate, but no, you already know where it is.

RoSs_bg2_rox 03-19-2004 01:09 PM

Its not that weird really if you think about it. I mean if the city is walled around and that is the only way out then your gona have to go there unless you intend to climb over a wall and be spotted by a guard or something.

ZFR 03-19-2004 01:14 PM

But after you go out through the gates next times you go there you can go from any area whatsoever.

NewbietoRPGs 03-19-2004 04:51 PM

Hey I didn't even realize there was a GATE!!??
How'm I doing?
Now that I know, I can venture forward again.
