I have a prob wit the third quest wher u hav to protect the girl whose family was killed. Things start out smooth then when the bad guys get ther, 1 always goes right upstairs. I follow and kill him and all the rest, but somwhere during the battle the girl turns hostile to me for no reason. any suggestions?

$64,000 question is, are you fully patched?

Have you tried one-shot killing the punk before he makes it up the stairs? Or using your party and a few summons to barricade the staircase to prevent anyone from going up?

I can bet that you arent fully patched...

A paladin may be too honor-bound to set traps, but a thief sure isn't :D

Paladin:: Thou wretched fool, you will not go up those stairs, so help me, for HELM!!! *Starts charging*

Fake Paladin: *Takes 500 hit point damage from Traps, explodes and dies*

Thief: Ooops! So that's where I put my traps!
