Don't want to spoil you, just something in general, If there's any romance-able NPC in your party, the romance will start automatically after you get out of the Irenicus Dungeon, and recuit those NPCs. The so called Romance is simply some special conversations started by the romance-able NPCs. |
More hints about romances:
All the romancable NPCs are found in Athkatla, and I think they're pretty easy to find. You can tell when an NPC is trying to romance your character because special music will play in the background of some conversations. You won't hear that music anywhere other than LoveTalks (romance dialogues). |
You will recognize the romance dialogue by the special music that plays...
Also (unless youre using the mod) the ability to romance depends on your race (and gender). |

i haven't gotten any "romance" conversations from viconia yet (i have got viconia and jaheira in my party) i'm a human monk, true neutral.. |
remember, if you want to keep a romance going you cant let your love die and then get resurected (or someting similar like booting them or petryfing them and then getting them back in some mannor) since that will reset their AI and thus killing the romance...
|
Also spell "imrisonment" that remove them from the party spoil it. Or if they leave to fight another NPC (Viconia).
slight spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . . There will be one time however when jaheira has to leave your party. Dont worry that wont spoil the romance. |

lord, are you sure?
I'm pretty sure i ended my romance with arie by resurecting her after she died in battle, (wow arie dying in battle, you dont se that very often) even though she never left the party... |
Calon,
You should be able to romance either Jaheira or Viconia since you are human (and I'm assuming male). If you've had them for awhile and have not had any lovetalks, there are a few possibilities: as mentioned above, having them imprisoned, petrified, or dying, and then re-recruiting them into your party will stop the romances. Also, I believe that if you don't accept them into your party the first time they ask, it will stop the romances as well (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). If you're rude to them, or say something wrong along the way, the romances will end as well. One example is telling them not now when they try to talk to you (sometimes they butt in at the weirdest times). Another possibility, though it's rather remote, is that they haven't been close enough to talk to you. In order to initiate a conversation, an NPC has to be standing fairly close to your character. If you have your monk in the front of your party formation, and the ladies in the back, it could be that they are too far away to start a conversation. If the above situations have not occurred, try standing next to them for a couple of minutes and see if anything happens. |
