A simple question... where can I find the svirfniblin (deep gnome) son missing?! Every time I played BGII I was unable to find him. Please, help me anyone...

In the same Underdark map were the deep gnome village is there is a machine. It's quite close to the elemental portals(north of them in fact). This machine has several panels that if you click on one a prisoner is released(some hostile). The gnomes son is trapped in the machine.

It actually has 6 panels. IIRC, the fifth one from the left is the son.
