Any ideas about it?
Also-if i install the german translation of tactics, will it translate the whole game to german? (i want to practise a bit this language. My knowledge of it somehow lessened over the late year).

I'm afraid I know nothing about how different languages work though. According to the tactics webpage, it does not overwrite your dialog.tk file and therefore i would assume it does not change the rest of the game dialogue.

EDIT: actually, with common-sense, the odds of Weimer translating every game dialog into German seem remote [img]smile.gif[/img] Perhaps you could put a post up asking for a German version of the dialogue file? That might work, although I don't know enough about how dialogue works to know for sure.

No, neither Tactics nor any other WeiDU mod you could name would translate your entire game to German.

Weimer actually used to host a site which had different versions of the .tlk file, but that went down around the time he switched to weidu.org. If you can't find anyone here with a German language version willing to send you their dialog.tlk and dialogf.tlk files, ask around on a few BG2 forums, I'm sure you'll find someone.
