Any news on Icewind Gate II? Weimer started it a year ago I think and now nothing happend. Did he stop or what?

I checked the IWG2 beta forum ( http://forums.fwstudios.net/index.php?act=SF&f=77 ) and he is said to be taking a break at the moment. No idea on when or if he will return, or what would happen to IWG2 development if he were to quit, although I'm sure it wouldn't be good.

Weimer was working on his PhD, I heard... those things can take years. Although he has the occasional time to write emails and revamp WeIDU, bughunting in IWG2 is a little more time-consuming, I suppose.

Believe me, I understand stalled projects -- I've currently got several. But, IWG is the coolest thing that hasn't happened.
