Anyone ever play a game just consistng of the PC and a Romanceable NPC?

Why not have it done? Although it wouldn't be solo anymore ;)

didn't someone do just this with an evil cleric of talos? (and by this I mean duo with PC and Viccy)

well, I think there is a case to be made if it is played as if it were a solo--the duo part of the group just sort of sitting at safe map-points.

this would get rid of the "maze spell insta-kills your game" thing, not to mention increasing the difficulty in certain areas that are based on number of people in party (at least I think such places exist...)

I may try it myself. Aerie, though, would probably be well-suited for it as she's a Cleric-Mage and has many spell selections. Then you'd only need a thief.

Or a Thief/Mage with Viconia, Jaheira, or Anomen.

Of course, I guess you really don't need a thief, just set off traps with summons...

So, anyone else planning this?

Lol, well I really meant it in the way that it'd be like playing a Solo Game, just with only one NPC in the group...
