Ive been playin solo Avenger for a few months now, but now ive run into a problem. Im facing Imp. Bodhi(the first one) on core rules, and i cant kill her. No biggie there. The thing is, i suspect its bugged, cause i got her down to near death, scored a critical hit(abuut 40 HP), but she wouldnt start dialogue. I suspect its becuase im in Fire Elemental form, but she started the dialogue just fine as she popped in to say hello, after i staked Lassal. I would try turning back to human form when she's in near death status, but i cant get her to Near death anymore.(she keeps killing my elemental prince and me too soon)If anyone has suggestions in what i should do, id be grateful...

You can't initiate dialogue if you're not in human form.
Don't bother using the mace of disruption because you can't kill the first bodhi anyone. Use the weapon you're most proficient with (2-handed sword, long sword, katana, etc) to get as many attalks at her as possible. Buff up with potions and just attalk her. You've got some mage spells, so don't forget about those.

Oh and when you are attacking, when she will reach the near death status slow down a little. Give her "chance" to talk.

If you are facing the first incarnation of Improved Bodhi (in the room where you can stake other vampires) she is invulnerable to damage you do, and simply runs on a timer.

Once she has appeared simply run out of the room, avoiding her and the grimwarders.

Shortly afterwards, she should shout some form of goodbye to you.

Of course Raistlin won't be using the Mace of Disruption. Or 2-handed swords, longswords, or katanas. Raistlin is playing a solo avenger druid.
And you can't *initiate* dialogue when shapechanged. That doesn't mean others can't start conversations with you.
Therefore, shapechanging should be fine, Raistlin... (NOW you tell me you're soloing an Avenger. I need to get with the program and rush on into ToB if I'm going to write the Chronicles of Faldorn with any credibility at all... I'm going to go cry now.)

It worked! Im now happily in the Asylum with a 21 level druid [img]smile.gif[/img] . Its been a breeze so far...

easy as pie...one hit from my deva=vorpal hit ;) . They're a pain in the arse without high level summons, i know. I had some fun with the Minor Avatar of Sekolah(tactics), but summons were the key again...ADD]God i love Physical mirror! I dont know if i had gotten through the Sahuagin place without it
