I may have jumped out of sequence in the game but I need help. I'm in Chapter 3 and I've spoken to Renal Bloodscalp who sent me to Mae Var's Guildhouse. Problem is, after I've made it past the locked doors and checked out all the rooms, one of the theives tells me Mae Var and Edwin are downstairs, but I cannot find any downward stairs! It looks like there is a staircase under the staircase leading up to the quarters and the fake door but I never get the stairs icon on my cursor.

Is there a glitch in my game? Have I jump out of turn and must come back to this later to unlock the stairs? Did I miss a door?

It is behind the left door of the shopkeeper on the main floor.

And it's very hard to see. I remember have played the game twice to the end, and when I was playing a thief in my third game, it took me a while to find that entrance.

Hmm. Try to increase the brightness of your screen. Sometimes it can be very helpful.(At least to me)
