I am a fighter with 18 constitution, which should give me a max +14 hp if i get a good roll right? How come after I am like lvl 9...every lvl I get I only get +3 to hp? Can anyone help me? Even the rest of my party such as Anomen, Jahiera...they only get like +1 or 2 hp when they lvl. Is there a limit to how many hp u can get?

First off.

Secondly, what diffuculty are you on? if you play at anything harder that easy (ie core, hardcore, insane) you are at the mercy of the dice for hit points. If you want max hitpoints simply slide the difficulty slider down to easy or begginer. Remember to slide it back after lvl ups otherwise the game will seem really easy, compared to how it was before. As far as I am aware there is no cap on the maximum HPs a character can have, of course legally you can only have 14*lvl (for a fighter with 18 con).

Oh thanks haha...yah I had the bar to insane. I havent tried to slide it back yet so I think I will try that and see what happens. Thanks for the help tho.

Seriously, the manual explains that after level 9 or 10 your characters only get +1 if mage, +2 if rogue or cleric, +3 if fighter per level, w/o con bonuses.

Then take the link in my sig for the next best (or possibly even the best, if I may be so immodest) thing. I believe Chapter 5 is the one that deals with hitpoints.

welcome to teh forum keef...i never get good rolls for HP...i think i got 1/level with one charachter with 18 con...but i dont know why...seems more complicated
