I was wondering if anyone could help me with the Skinner murders quest. Either direction to an old post or an actual spoiler. Here is the situation:

- I have found out who has been commiting the murders and chased him through his shop to the docks below but he still gets away because I had to fight the Mage and two uber thieves/assasins. I talked to the guard and got the exp and such but I was wondering Where did the Tanner go? How can I find him? I have the skin suit. I have never finished this quest in the past. I was always too busy with other quests at the time. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

You have to get some silver dragons blood to finish the armor, so...there's only one silver dragon really waitin around to be poked with a stick, and she's a friendly dragon at that. unfortunate ;) Did you find the note in Rejeck's (sp?) house? It describes a fellow you might go and meet later on to complete the armor.

As for the tanner, you will meet him later in the game, if you play through most of the quests. Be patient :D

Thank Ryaldin, No I didn't find the note but will go back again and look, I am playing good characters so I dont want to make the armour just eliminate The plot.....I will be patient and bide my time until I get the chance to smack down the Tanner...thanks again

you really should reconsider, the armour is wicked and it gives you a chance to kill the sliver dragon, unless she kills you which happens alot to me... if you really want to know where he is then read this spoiler, if not avoid it !

you will find him in trademeet after you have completed the druid quest, also when you create the armour you get to fight 3 powerful mages which pose a serious problem when they cast their first spell at you...

THE FACTS (no spoilers, just facts)
There is no way to apprehend the Skinner Murderer on your first attempt.
There are, however, two subsequent quests.
One of these requires the "Human Flesh" item, and knowledge of the "Tanner's Letter" item.
The Mage in the lowest level of the Tanner's house (you know, the guy who Teleported away before you could get his autograph) was named Vellin Dahn.
Silver Dragons are of Good (Neutral Good, I believe) alignment.

And that's really all you need to know.
