OK, there has been alot of talk about them and that they are good if you dual them to thief and get the HLA use every item.
Are they worth a try?
At what level should I dual to thief?
Can I be Lawful Evil?
What tactics should I use with this Dual-Class? A backstabber?
How do I stay alive without potions? A slightly tweaked con to 20 (from 19, could work out in a roleplaying perspective)?

You can do it but IMHO Multi Classed F/T trupms WS->Thief like there is no tommorow. Why? Well you have abilities from both pools. You can choose the UAI HLA immediatly and you don`t have to wait for eternity for you other class to reactivate. Also you get the MR very high. Your call.

I can confirm ( :D ) that Wizardslayers spell failure on melee hit works on all incarnations of Jon Irenicus in Tactics Mod in SOA.

So - if you want to make fun of him ...

My WS/T was dualled at level 10. He wore Human Flesh Armor, Cloak of Balduran and Carsomyr and had all together 105% MR. :D :D
(he was mage's worst nightmare)

but carsomyr is only for paladins...what level do i dual-class to get a nice bonus from the wizard slayer? 13? I want to do the dual-class this time.

Theif Use Any Item HLA allows you to use *ANY* item, even NPC specific equipment.

i never ever got the spell fail on melee hit to work right..i think...

and i thought it worked for ranged attack too...

wizard slayer is the funnest class, get at least 2 slots in crossbow so that yu can get the first his on a mage and stop his future spells. you could always go down the shadowkeeper alley, but this bugged my game up so badly that it still doesnt work when i reinstall it, oh well
