I have almost finished Baldur Gate, I have been teleported to the Thieves Guild, but I have not find a way to go on? Where have I to go? THX

Inside the thieves guild, you should see a staircase going down. Take that stair and go from there.

I suppose that the staricase is the one on the right of the hall. The problem is that the Icon with the small staircase does not appear.
Have I something to do before or there is a problem?

No, that's right Melkor. The staircase to the right of where you are teleported to should be the one. Have you talked to anybody there and asked them if they might of seen a very large, scary-looking gentleman in full plate come running through [img]smile.gif[/img] ?

It may not be anything to do with it, but I think someone pointed me down the stairs after him.

I have spoken with every one in the room, but I have also killed with my thief one of them (the one I betrayed). Have I killed the good one?

No, it doen't matter if you've killed a Thief or two--even if you've killed ALL of them, it wouldn't matter. After you've done the coronation, a Thief appears there--his sole purpose is to say a big guy in plate and a mage went down those stairs, meaning, go south young man, if you want to beat the game.
Now. If you've been teleported to the Thieves' Guild but the stairs still don't work, you have a bug. Solution: Cheat.

CLUA Console:MoveToArea("AR0146")

You may need a semicolon at the end...I forget. That'll teleport you directly to where those stairs lead.....right to the very END of the level, rather than the beginning, but hey, if won't matter much if you beat the thing backwards.

P.S. Anyone else think it's odd that the Thieves' Guild doesn't seem to employ a SINGLE Elf or Halfling?

Thank you I have a game saved just before the coronation. If I have well understood the thief should appear before teleporting to the thoeves' guild. I will try again and I will let you know.
