For those of you that use IEEP, you know how you enter in the item codes for each item (Inventory, Ground, Use Item, etc)? Well, so far, I've been trying to figure that stuff out manually (by looking at other items), but it's taking too long that way. Isn't there supposed to be a program that automatically does this stuff for you, that you're supposed to install with IEEP? I guess I didn't install it or whatever. Can anyone give me a link to where I can download that program?

i havent heard of any such program, though you DO need the V6 package(i think it was that) to make it work. I believe there are some tutorials at TeamBG's website, if you have the patience...

There isn't a program that will do automatically what you want done. You could download the WinBiff program to extract individual itm files for examples, or you could download Near Infinity to help with item creation.
An example--the Ring of Free Action. The file is "ring09.itm", the general icon picture is "iring09.bam", the ground icon is "gring01.bam", and the carried icon (the picture you see when you right-click on an item) is "cring09.bam". If you are at a loss for what to use, then choose "gsack01.bam" for ground icon and leave the carried icon blank (this will make no picture when you right-click on the item).

I keep a folder of generic items for use in both NI and IEEP; one generic item of each type--short sword, wand, chain mail, etc. If you like, I can zip this folder and send it to you easily enough which will save you the trouble of extracting the items yourself. Send me a private message if you would like these files.

Good luck on item creation! Have you done any spell creation yet?

Thanks for the offer, but I think I just made my last item...for a while . I took a quick peak at the spell creation, had no idea what to do, and left it in a rush :D . The item I was editing just for this was one that I have made a while ago, but had never actually used yet, plus I had not really given the item anything good. I tried assigning it to Bodhi to drop when I kill her, but there were so many Bodhi's in SK that I decided to leave it, and CLUA it in halfway through ToB

while were on the subject of IEEP, does anyone know how to import self made sketches for usage? Ive started drawing different weapons/armor/misc items, and was wondering wether or not i can use them in self-made items...

Well, just let me know if you change your mind.

Yes, spell creation can be a pain, but the benefits definitely make up for the headaches along the way.

You'd think with all those Bodhis running around that she would already control the world.
