Ok i am doing a walkthrough of bg2 for the ***'th time. I've got it set on high difficulty and the Imoen mod. I’ve escaped the dungeon and done the Nalia keep quest and the korgan quest. So far I’ve not been killed and I’m starting to have grand ideas about going through the game unbeaten. I’ve just done a clean up of the slaver quest and though all my party is bloodied and out of healing its only a short walk to the cornet, even though it's night. And then things go wrong…. horribly

Suddenly Sansuki runs by and pleads for help, which of course brings Dell and 2 other vamps into play. Ok this is going to be tough. Then I make the mistake of using Nalia to cast a spell and of course up pops the cowled mafia scum. Ok I’m in trouble but not beaten. Hasting Nalia away to cast spell un interrupted I begin the fight in earnest. Anoman goes down level drained, Korgan gets stunned and soon dies, I’m bleeding to death (wizard slayer)only one vamp and a cowled wizard left but the only hope is Nalia, sweet Nalia hanging on to dear life but….. on deaths door I look across at Nalia. She will save me…… Help Nalia!!!!

But wait she has just been killed by……. Habib!!!!! It’s all over and the dreaded hand of death waves a fond farewell.

When things go wrong, boy do they go wrong.Habib for goodness sake! Any one else had a moment like this?

returning from the fight against Drizz't, Habib hit my PC with a Critical for 2hp. Sadly that was exactly what I had left. :mad:
Was a long time ago though.

well it's usually them chasing my PC and then I die... or other NPCs... LOL

others when I have beaten the living crap out of someone, and then stumbling upon a trap.. ouw... oh and there was one after a grand fight, I thought it was all done then... *bam*. I died... only to remember that I haven't saved yet... so that means I would have to repeat what I did all over again... [img]smile.gif[/img]

One of my no-reloads horrible deaths: playing with a multi C/R I had a shield of reflection and shield of harmony and felt pretty confident ;) . I buffed and entered slavers compound from sewers. I equiped shield of reflection to protect from arrows and throwing axes, while I was casting some spells (Hold person). Then I went fighting and that single cleric threw at me charm person and I forgot to change shields ... :mad:

the Slums seem to be Habibs favourite place to kill. I once played a game with an Assassin and Edwin. After fighting three Vamps(not the Sansuki ones, the ones who demand you pledge your alligence). I defeated them, though just barely, having Edwin killed and my Assassin level drained to level 2 with 1 hp. Well, headed to the temple on the roof of the CC and guess who met me there? Damn i was pissed...

Yeah, but if you show up at the temple atop the CC, he'll throw a bag of money in...I've lost a PC that way, but thankfully it wasn't a no reloads game.

yup, he's throwing scimitars, rocks and anything else that can be thrown! he has some serious issues to work on... :D

I cant belive how he manages to trow a bag of money right in to the teample *Right in MY face*Hmm it would be nice to trow coins and rocks on irenicus ^^.
