Much better than BG1. I get out of the first dungeon and say, "OK, let's go give these acorns to the Dryad queen and save them FIRST!". But every time you move a few feet, people are throwing quests at you!! Somebody on this board please tell the Dryad queen we are on the way!! LOL

I'll tell her, when she comes over for my massage appointment :D
Advice: Marvel at the world of Amn as this is you first time through and you'll probably miss the not-knowing of the story once you've finished it and want to start anew.

I actually enjoied my second game the most, because by tehn i knew the main plot but was really trying to do every quest. It wasnt all that confusing but really fun when I made all those small discoveries i had missed on my first run.

Explore the city. There is so much there to enjoy that most people probably miss half of it the first time through

I think a lot of people do it this way, get enthralled in the main quest and then come back second time around and do everything. This is a good way to do it (although i just love doing every single quest every time , including first!)

You won't finish that acorn quest for a long time actually It all depends, but the quest you'll be on when you do finish it, you'll want to be pretty far in the game.

Don't lose them

It is a great game ;) . I also didn't complete many of the quests my first time through the game, and I'm sure it's like that for many people. Just remember to refer to your journal to keep track of those quests

I remember my first time as a true roleplaying experience. I was playing a chaotic neutral barbarian, and traveled the world with a reputation of about 4, lol. one fond memory is when i talked to that dwarven armorer in Waukeens Promenade and he refused sell to me cause i insulted his name. BAM BAM, dead dwarven armorer, lol. aaah, memories

I just beat the game for the first time and I took my time doing every quest I could hoping it would never end. I am almost positive I did every one. I have yet to complete ToB.

Well, it was only on my latest run through the game as an assassin (God knows how many times I've been through the game now, its a fair few times) that I realised that there were extra rooms to explore on the ground floor of the Harper stronghold.

Damn that fog of war!!!
