Is this actually implemented properly in the game?
I've imported a character from BG 1 and made him into an assassin. L10 thief THAC0 should be 16. 19 Strength should give an additional +3 to hit, so THAC0 should be 13. The character is proficient in longsword and is a human (no bonuses). As an assassin, the character *should* get +1 to hit and +1 to damage. The +1 to hit is DEFINATELY not implemented in my game, and I'm not entirely convinced the +1 damage is either. Does anyone know if this is a bug, or if I've just been unlucky with an install. Are there any single bug patches out there that could implement a bonus +1 to hit/damage for my character? Any help with this one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
Actually, I have not made any notice of the +1 boni on my assassin fighter either... So I will look into it soon...

If it was a bug then they would probibly have it at Baldurdash (http://www.baldurdash.org/)It dosent seem to have it on mine either, i'll have to look into it some more.

*bump*
Anyone able to make a small patch to add the +1 hit/damage for me pls :D |
As far as I could see, the damage WAS implemented, but the Thac0 bonus used some EFF file that I'm not sure was working.

Feel upto creating a drag and drop patch for me?
:D |
Repaired it myself already, not tested, but I have nothing to upload it on...

What you can do is e-mail it to Kevin Dorner. He's currently working on a new version of Baldurdash.
