Is it possible to dual class a monk into a mage?
I'm sure i did a kensai and mage...

Yep, you can't dual any of the new classes in BG2 - barbarian, monk, sorcerer.
Think of the powergaming if you could dual a sorcerer! :D

nonono, Dual Mage/Sorcerer: Scribe scrolls and cast them 9x/day :D

blatant cheating with shadowkeeper are possible...not fun, not kosher, but possible.

Nastiest brute-force combo: Multiclassed Kensai/Swashbuckler.
Full Plate + Kensai AC bonuses + Swashbuckler AC bonuses.
Warrior ApR + Kensai THAC0 bonuses + Swashbuckler THAC0 bonuses.
Warrior hitpoints, Warrior Saving Throws. Ouch!!!
