Ok, i was romancing Jaheira for a really long time, even though Aerie was in the same group, i just kept shunning her. Now i went to spellhold and just finished the underdark and realized that Jaheira hadn't spoken to me in a long time; is this normal? The only thing i can depend on is that she showed reflief when i left Phaeries chambers quickly (said i was a eunich ;) ) So, is it over, or am i cool?

In the underdark most romances are put on hold. (apart from in Ust Natha IIRC).

The romance will resume when you get back to the surface.

Perfectly normal. Romance talks won't progress within dungeons, and for the most part, all of chapters 4 and 5 are just huge dungeons (the underdark included). Also, some of Jaheira's stuff requires you being outdoors, which you're obviously not in chapters 4/5.

Note, btw: all romances are disabled when you start chapter 7. If you want to finish it, DON'T START CHAPTER 7.

I believe they do continue in dungeons. I've had Aerie talk to me in Watcher's Keep in ToB while I was romancing her. And the thing is, she started it right before a battle started [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

i've had something similar happen to me. we started talking talking, and when we finished, bandits were everywhere! thanks for the advice, btw!

wrongly flagged areas
pre-baldurdash e.g. the outside Keep area counts as a dungeon ;)
the underdark does not completely halt romances butas you'll be in dungeons a lot there it will take some luck to get a dialogue and with Jaheira it is nearly impossible when she's waiting for an outside event.
