well....i was playing my game normally...got to the underdark....and then i didnt feel like going to Ust Natha, so...i killed the silver dragon thinking that i could get out w/ her scroll...but unfortunately, i did so w/o letting her turn me into a drow. So now, everytime i get to exit(place where there are the drow gaurds, etc) they automatically attakc me and i cant get out...


any suggestions on how to get out of the underdark??

Can you be a little more specific on where you said there are guards, please. I got a little confused.

well, basically what i mean, is that u know the part where before u get out of the underdark, there is huge gate and a buncha drow soldiers and clerics standing. And when u talk to them ( if u are not a drow), they say some stuff in drow and attack you. another clue to tell u where this is.......hmm.... when u get the silver dragon's eggs back, she turns into her smaller form and takes u to a place where u see a buncha drow guards and when the drow are dead she lets u get out of the underdark? thats where i m...only thing is that i cant open the door....

Kill the guards, open the gate.

If you got the scroll thingy from the silver dragon´s corpse it should not be a problem.

i couldnt open the gates for some reason....i installed all the patches and fixes but to no avail

If all the guards are dead, and you've cast Detect Invisibility or Oracle or True Sight some spell that makes invisible creatures visible (thus making sure you've killed everything), and you've tried resting, and you STILL can't get through, you have problems. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

By "fixes" you mean Baldurdash, right?

yea, by fixes i mean baldurdash.And ya i use true sight and killed everything, tried resting, but nothing happens. I still cant open the door.

If you have the scroll, the doors should definitely open for you, since, even with all of BioWare's faults, I simply cannot BELIEVE that they failed to consider that gamers might pass up Ust Natha and simply kill Adalon.

First off, how old is your oldest Save? It's always good to have a backup from before things "went wrong."
Next, if you've got the scroll and the doors still won't open, I'd say that's stupid enough to warrant being called a bug.
Third, try going to Ust Natha and killing everybody, paying particular attention to the Temple of Lolth.

The problem with that is he isn't turned into a drow so he won't even be able to get in the city.

IIRC he can if he has a Drow in the party. I'm not sure though.
