I get an assertion error in line 250 when I try to load a game.
Is there anyone with a list of "errors" and what to do about them?
I've cleaned the cache and temp files to no avail. Help.

Go to www.bioware.com and search under support for BG2. They have a small section devoted to the Assertion errors.

Umm forget what I just said. You did what they say to do. Your only other option is to reinstall. I'd suggest doing a disk clean up, followed by diskcheck, and a defragmentation. After all that try reinstalling, and hopefully it works.
