I dig the magical teleportation that characters like Irenicus and the Cowled Wizards use to instantly appear/disappear at a location. Is this spell available to the player? Can it be used to travel from one map location to another? What level is this spell?

Okay that an LVL 11 spell called "STRG+J".
But it´s only availably after the "DebugMode = 1" ritual in "baldurs.ini"-quest.

That for local teleportation
The "Global teleportation"-Spell needs mixture of "^"-buttons cut at fullmoon and the manual of "MoveToArea"

the spell is 'Dimension Door' and you could have it in BG1 but not in BG2

afaik it was removed to prevent you teleporting past plot-critical triggers so you're out of luck

if you just want to play though i have a vague memory of one of the NPC mods having Dimension Door and you might be able to shadowkeeper it in

i got that from the Solaufein ReadMe: "He can still Dimension Door (don't abuse it!)"

If you have Solaufein in ur party he can teach Edwin Dimension Door spell. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Who is Solaufein (funny name if you are german) ?

You should have some lvl 4 spells, just select DD.

Solaufein is a Drow in the Underdark.

Dimension Door is a level 4 wizard spell that you can easily shadowkeep in to your characters spell book. You can use the debug mode and add spell or add the scroll too. I made an innate version of the spell by editing the wiazrd version of it that I give to all my characters, casters or not ;) It's a totally cool ability.

To set it up right you might need an editing tool like IEEP from teambg.com. You open up the spell using IEEP and go to "attributes" then tick the box marked "not city". This gives the spell unlimited range, rather than only visual range.
