after collecting the tears of bhaal and using them on the door, I've noticed that various things happen to my character; +10 magic resistence, a few added stat points, immunity to +1 weapons, stuff like that.

Do these effects stay in place after the game? like if I started a new game with this character? Or will the effects only stay if I continue in to TOB?

just curious.

thanks

No. Only if you move on to ToB or import this character again to the beginnig of SoA but that would be... cheating.

wow, quick on the reply. that's what I was asking, if it stays only for ToB, if I import him into a new game, or both. thanks.

You're obviously making a decision a Paladin wouldn't make.

spoiling a bit more
+ the effects depend on your decisions
+ the effects stay with your character (i.e. in your character file) regardless if you continue to ToB, export him and import him to a multiplayer game, export him and import him to a SoA game. What Xen meant was that your Paladin would be to overpowered to start SoA again with him which would be kinda cheating.

just remember, a paladin is a noble warrior of light. would a paladin charge off to kill a creature he knows nothing about on the request of, lets say, a demon*hint hint, wink wink*
