Grand Undead Hunter 09-02-2003 06:35 PM

Hi all,

I have heard that the horn of Valhala can somehow be improved to a stronger version by some one in the city. Does anyone know the details?

cheers

I believe you take the horn to Waukeen's promenade and give it to Maheer. You need a diamond to upgrade it once and a Beljuril or something liek that to upgrade it again...it's found in spoiler...

There is a merchant who might like to take a look. Search somewhere where merchants are likely to be.

Edit: Sigh. Vague, spoiler free methods just don't cut it anymore.

By the way, Lord Lothar, why did you tell him where to find the gem?

Probably because Beljurils are the rarest gems?

Because he specifically asked for the details.

I wouldn't call G.U.H.'s request all that "specific," but it's too late now. It never hurts to feed someone just the first part of what you know. If they're interested, they'll ask for more. You don't have to force-feed them.

Spoiler...somewhat

I'd like to mention a good mod that improves upon the horn. It makes the horn far more useful later in the game imho, and corrects other issues with it. This can all be found in the associated readme file.
