I prefer the sorceror because his selection of spells isn't terribly limited and the fact that he can cast them so many times is sweet.
Yeah sorcerers kick ass they are so much simpler and definately worth the disadvantage
Heh a funny question. And you know that i will always say:Sorcerer. Ask Pyrenk! :D
Sorcerer if only for one reason: they are less labor intensive ;)

I don't think that Sorcerers have a disadvantage really, there are not many spells that you'll be casting all the time with mages. Spells like find familiar, protection from petrification are not going to be missed if you don't have them and even if they are... you can just think of when you can put 3 Abi-Hazzim thingys in a chain contingncy to distract you.
You'll never miss Find Familiar, as it is used once (ideally), and the scroll is easy to find.

I knew sooner or later that this topic would pop up again. But unlike the last two previous topics I side with sorceror. Mages may know more spells but most of the spells they don't use at all!

Sorcerer, no doubt, as pure spellcaster. Advantage of wizards? Multi and dual class, as well as specialty. :D
Wild mages rock the boat though, they are way more fun :D
