Heya

Can anybody give me a good stratigy for going up and killing the Lycanthropes on the top level of baulders ship so far im going up there trying to freeze him (the boss werewolf fulla i cant remember his name, I'll proberly remember once ive posted this) with the wand of paralysation but it aint workin and he's summoning a bunch of lycanthropes and there slaughtering my party.

anybody please help!!

The main problem I had was that after going up the party is in a very bad postition, because the summoned wolfs etc. can attack the weaker characters.
I equipped my best fighter (me=paladin) with the dagger found in the level below (you cannot harm the boss with another weapon anyway) and let him attack the boss. Xan had a wand of monstersummoning which he used to summon a bunch of monsters to keep the lycanthropes busy. The rest of the party attacked the sommoned lycanthropes. I also hasted the whole party. It was still a hard fight, but I managed to defeat the enemy.

You mean you have to clear out all of the other levels as well!!

I only cleared out the lowest one and then quickly made my way up the stairs tryin not to get killed, so i could kill the boss and then work backwards, dang that chucked my idea out the window, bugger!

unfortunatly, you have to clean the whole ship, or at least the level below the boss. But anyway, the lower levels are not that hard. There is another weapon against lycanthropes, but you will get it afer you defeat the boss http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif
And go only fully rested agaginst the boss...

Thnx man i'll keep that in mind, dunno when i'll get time to do it though to busy studying 4 my big end of year exams, so wif that coming up i dont know when i'll find room to finish bg and now i got bg2 staring me in the face, but thats enough of my moaning thnx for the help Chris77Se

The Bastard Sword +1/+3vs. Shapeshifters will dammage the Lycanthropes at the top of the ship. The only thing that the boss can be hit with are weapons designed to kill Lycanthropes or other shapeshifters.

I also got another question to ask why on earth(or Abeir-toril in this case) do they give you the sword specially designed to kill lycanthropes after you've killed the hardest one? Wouldnt it make more sense to give it to you just before you got face him, what use is it afterwards, i mean your getting off the stinking little rock wif stinking little wolve people on it

Hm, I was just thinking about to take the sword during the fight out of the chest... (if I remember right and the sword is in the chest).

if you cast a spell of haste you can send one of your fighters into the room with the sword and have your magis users cast summon monsters to keep them busy. it is still a hard fight but one that is winable. GOOD LUCK!
