I've decided to start a new game alond with the game I already have going. I decided that I wanted to be a sorceror, since everybody says that that is the best class, but I also want at least 2 other members in my party since I don't think I'm ready to solo yet. I decided to have Aerie as another member, since a Sorceror + Mage + Cleric = Awesome, but I still want to have another one or two people as backup spellcasters for an all-magic party. I was thinking Nalia or Jan as another, but I also want another back-up cleric just in case. Who do you recommend, and do you think that this would be a good party to play the game with?

I recommend ... Viconia!
She'll have great arguments with Aerie, and she's my dear mother.
Though, if you just want an all-magic party, my father Edwin is easily the best choice. I think he goes well with sorcerers as well, don't know why.

If my party consists of:

Me (Sorc)
Aerie
Nalia
Viconia and/or Edwin

Will there be any danger of anybody leaving, excluding obvious reputation difficulties?

I don't think so, these are the only Npcs that have trouble with each other.

Minsc and Edwin
Viconia and Keldorn
Aerie and Korgan

Your choice, both make good spellcasters.

Forget Nalia, take Jan, he's more fun and still provides Thieving abilities. [img]smile.gif[/img]

If it was me, I would take Edwin, Viconia, and Jan. Maybe Anomen if I was desparate for more healing magic.

Aside from Romance difficulties with Haer'Daelis for example.
