For example, siding with either the S.T. or Bhodi and then killing/attacking them, or doing anything equally destructive to the story?

Is there anything you can do at any point in the game that just stops the game from being able to progress any further? Short of actually 'finishing' it, I mean?

If you side with the thieves in Chapter 3 and attack Aran, a theif spawns with an uber sword of death and kills you immediately (unless you choose to employ a cheesy tactic). I beleive something similar occurs if you attack Bodhi when you're working for her. I think that unless you cheat, there's no other places to screw up your game unless you forget an important item (like losing the key to Aran's room etc.)</font>

I guess you could screw it up if you left Aran's key in the Planar Prison or something.

All I can think of is losing the key. Other than that, you are saved from the possibility of plot-breaking by instant death.

You could also lose other items in the Planar Prison, ones that are needed in Chapters 6 and 7.

by 'lose items' you mean 'drop and forget to pick up' eh? I've never done planar prison that I can remember. Is it like Twisted Rune in that it can't be reentered then?

Yip, Twisted Rune is another example of somewhere that can't be entered again. Kalah's circus tent is another, though perhaps if you dropped items there they might appear in the original tent when the illusion is dispelled.

Well... You mess up your game, but that is easily remedied with SK, so, in truth, there is no absolutely fool-proof way to mess up your game.

Well, that really doesn't end your game. You just kill all of the drow, and you can get out. The problem is that you need the eggs, or you'll also have to kill Adalon. That doesn't screw your game, it just makes you have to choose a path you might not want to go down (i.e. the evil path).

Let's see:
</font>
 • If you try to kill Gaelan before you pay him, he flees (which may force you to side with Bohdi, I'm not sure)</font>
 • You can try to face Irenicus without help in Spellhold, but then you just get killed instantly. End up reloading.</font>
 • Oh, I know one! If you are doing the Jaheira quest, and one of the hostile parties attacks right when you enter chapter 6 (Dermin, etc.), then that will make the elves hostile, last I checked. That may screw your game.</font>
 • Also, can the priestess in Suldanessalar be killed by the rakshashas attacking her? Does this screw the game?</font>
