I plan to make a good party with me (sorc), minsc, keldorn, anomen (groan) and Jan. I also want another mage. Nalia would seem a good option but doesnt get bonus spell slots such as jan and edwin (specialist mages). Also, Nalia really gets on my nerves, even more than anomen................. The only other mage is edwin. Will edwin eventually try to kill any of my planned party members and will he leave if my rep gets too high? Oh, and I have ToB installed, I heard somewhere this makes a difference to party mebers leaving due to rep and fights breaking out between them. Also I am not adverse to using SK to placate the situation if needed.

I think Minsc and Edwin will eventually fight to death, Minsc winning [img]smile.gif[/img] Try to keep your rep at mid. states, save often... fights begin at a rasndom basis, so there is a chance of reloading and continueing the game without any trouble [img]smile.gif[/img]

I had a mixed party once... Minsc and Edwin were shouting at each other, they eventually fought (in the end of SoA... RIGHT before the final battle [img]smile.gif[/img] ) After a reload they went on nicely with each other [img]smile.gif[/img]

The big plus about Edwin is he's lawful. So he WILL follow your command, meaning little troubles.

Yea, no he won't. Eventually if your rep. does get too high, he'll ditch your party, he's done it to me before.

To avoid anyone leaving or fighting to the death Ironbar, I suggest downloading the Ease-Of-Use Mod.

IIRC, the game manual says that evil party members will start bickering if your rep goes 16 and more. So just keep your rep at 15 [img]smile.gif[/img]

Doesn't having ToB make any difference then? I wonder how I came up with that idea.................

my "evil" NPCs always leave the party when my rep. hits 18 in SoA (even when I was having romance with Viconia~~) and they'll leave you no matter "when"...once in the first little encounter with Bodhi in Ch. 6, Bodhi turned Viconia into Cyan, my rep. just raised up to 18, and Edwin immediately left the party while the battle with vampires broke out~~


when it gets to ToB it doesn't matter...20 the max. they'll still stay.
