Which NPC's adjust their levels according to main char ? All of them ?
I know that Solaufein and Kelsey do, and Haer'Dalis also.

Do they check XP or level ? If main char is multiclass then his level is much lower than single class. So probably XP ?

None! None of the NPC's get level adjustment? WHY?! Because BGII is 2nd edition, and 2nd edition is kinda crappy.

(IMHO off course )

Edit: oh sorry, my bad... :D

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I mean when they join you.

Most Bioware NPCs get an adjustment but not dynamically.
There are several character sheets for every NPC with different levels (e.g. Jaheira lvl8 and Jaheira lvl 14 - don't know if that are the actual levels).
Depending on what level your PC is the game matches you up with the most fitting version of the NPC once you meet him/her first. The levels do not get very high however so don't count on soloing and then picking up a complete lvl20 party.

This sometimes leads to glitches or inconsistencies. IIRC high-level Jaheira has a lower DEX than low-level Jaheira (without reasonable explanation) or some NPCs have shifted weapon proficiencies on higher levels.

Tashia also adjusts to the PC.

I'm pretty sure Solaufein does too.

Yes Faceman's correct about Jaheria's DEX I had that problem with Jaheria when I imported my level 20+ Undead Hunter to start the game and noticed she only had 14 DEX now. I think IIRC the glitch is with level 14 Jaheria.

Otherwise it could be because she is a halfling, racial bonuses, or maybe because she acquired her bow from Avoreen is why she has Grand Mastery in it.
