After a long break from BG2, I recently reinstalled it. I created a halfelf Cleric/Ranger and went to the temple district to start the unseeing eye quest. To my surprise, the priest of Helm talked to me instead of Lathander and gave me the quest...so if I complete the quest will I get the temple of Helm or nothing?

I don't think it should matter; I do find it odd that it was Helm who talked to you though. Did you already do the Umar Hills quest? Keep a save, I guess, finish the quest and see. Weird... should still work, I'd think.

No, you just get a private room at the Temple though you'll have to help out people occasionally, give them advice and so forth. Usually if your reputation is average, Helm will speak with you and if your rep. hits Popular or higher, Lathander will come speak with you.

A, a nice bit of tea. Celestial Seasonings, perhaps? Why, yes, thank you, that'd be simply divine.

And how can we have a turnip-tea party without Jan? (Attended by Oghma, Sune, Helm, and Bane, of course.)

FYI: This Is A Silly Post! :D

Gangrell 08-11-2003 04:11 AM

Of course there would be Lolth with some Spiders oLe' Chocolate, and Malar with the turkey, rack of lamb and all the trimmings

Ahh yes, I can see Bane listening to Jan's never-ending Turnip stories.

Jan- "But what Uncle Scratchy didn't know was that those particular Turnips were filled with a highly poisonous turnip juice. He didn't wake for up weeks, but when he did he went back to eating again."

*Bane rolls the dice*

Bane- "Come on, get a good roll! No! How dare you not roll on a 20?!"

*Bane save vs. spell (or fall asleep). Makes the dice roll to a 20*

Jan- "Playing with loaded dice eh? This reminds me of that time when Uncle Scratchy..."

Bane- "Noooo!"

And then, after such lengthy conversations, Bane's empire came crashing down from one gnome with a side platter of Turnips :D
