Where exactly are the Golden Pantaloons for BG2? My main character had them in his inventory when I beat BG1, and I imported that same character to BG2. Yet, I cant find the pantaloons. Can someone enlighten me here?

According to the GameBanshee website, the Golden Pantaloonies are saved with your character, but they are stored behind the trapped painting in Irenicus' Dungeon in the room where the Jailkeep Golem is.

I don't really understand the "history" behind them, so to speak, but the Golden Pantaloonies are part of the strongest suit of armor in the game. You get three different types of Pantaloons in the Baldur's Gate series, gold, silver, and bronze. Collect them all and you will be able to have them forged in ToB to make the Big Metal Unit with a high resistance vs. electricity and with a base armor class of -10. Even Mages, Kensai's, and Monks are able to wear it, though with mages, their spells will be disabled.

Well, that makes me wanna play BG1 all the way through now..to bad everything takes so long to kill =(
