I just got the flaming sword and all it does is it seems is make the blade bright yellow...........didnt someone a while back release a mod that made it so the blade was flaming?
If so can someone link me to it please.

About what "flame" sword do you speak of?
Flame Tongue +1 or Sword of Flame of The Nort +2?

The one you buy in the copper cornet.....i believe its the flaming tongue.

From what I've seen, the graphic of a flaming sword was not included in BG2, which I think is a damned shame, considering how cool Xan's Moonblade and the Flame Tongue looked in BG1. Perhaps they dropped it because they didn't want to write a 2nd copy of the graphic for when you were holding the sword in your offhand, or something like that.

<span style="color: lightblue">I think that the developers tried to put it in, but the difference in resolution and compression made it look absolutely hopeless, as opposed to spectacular. And so they decided to leave it as it is now.
AFAIK no modder has succesfully created an animation for it as yet that puts flames in.
