I'll give you a clue.

Go talk to Rampah, he's a homeless beggar guy somewhere above the Five Flagons Inn. Buy the item he found and take it to the Merchant to the left of said inn.

This should get things rolling. =)

The merchant by the inn you mean? He tells you what the item is and who could possible use it.

Another hint is to talk to the Harem girl below Rampah (You cant miss her, bright colors and next to the door of the Inn) and ask her what she 'saw' during the murders. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not, but if you find out who the perp is, confront the perp first before reporting to the one caption dude.

Did you get the item from rampah and did you talk to the harlot near the shopkeeper?

Here's a hint, Atolly: play the game. ;) It's much more fun when you find these things out for yourself. It's not that hard to figure out. Just listen when people talk and refer to your journal a lot.

The guy who gave you the quest, Aegisfield, mentioned three people that were around during the skinner's last murder. You've found Rampah. If you go find Bel Dalemark (the merchant), Rose will be very easy to spot. Also, go talk to the child Faraji.
