Does a Protection vs Poison scroll work against Cloudkill? I want to send in my tank; but, I don't like using magic blocking because it takes away all of the good stuff too.

I had a ring of Poison protection from one of the BG sequals, and Cloudkill still effected by character.
But the effect was temporary, and the poison goes away on its own after a while.

Cloudkill is a Save vs. Death, so you would need a high constitution, a high wisdom and something which improved either all your saving throws or those vs. Death only if you wish to have a higher chance of surviving these spells.
