Okay
#1: I have the subrace thing installed, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure If I'm looking in the wrong place when I make my Characters, or if it's just not working. any ideas?

#2: When I first played, I modelled my character after Drizzt.... Bad idea, it seems, for when I came out of the underdark, Drizzt surprisingly found me (I didn't know he was in the game), and kicked my arse repeatedly, saying that I was an imposter... Any thoughts on that? or ways around it?

1-There should be a Dwarf and he then talks to you about subrace.

2-About Drizzt. This is something that BioWare put into the game for a little surprise. [img]smile.gif[/img]

There's also no way around it, save changing your name :D

2. As for Drizzt calling you an imposter, I'm not really too sure on that one, never heard of that happening before. Do you have any of his weapons on you?

So you can't get the subrace in character creation? how do you get the benefits then?

Gangrell, that happens when you name your character Drizzt. He gets extremely angry, and then attacks you. Has nothing to do with his weapons.

With the Drizzt imposter thing.... I named myself Drizzt.... and I use dual scimiars... Elf Ranger... dark skin (although subraces i haven't got yet...)

Is he even beatable in a fight?

He gets angry when you're named Drizzt yourself? That's really... screwed up in my opinion.

P.S.- He does get angry when you have his weapons on you.

He's quite beatable, but considering there's a 10 hour time lapse between you leaving the elven camp and running into him, it's hard to have spell protections stay up, even Stoneskin doesn't last that long.
