1. Has anybody tried the Nalia Romance mod out? If so, is it any good?
2. I've given up on my Blade (I can't resist the urge to rob the Adventurer's Mart of all their scrolls, heheh) and am now starting my F/M/C. A. I'm assuming the proficiencies should be Flail and Warhammer? B. Would Yoshimo make a good addition to my party until I get Imoen back (thief skills, obviously) or should I pick Jan up? |
I personally like Jan better, but he does have a habit of making you want to shove a turnip up his...
Warhammer and Flail is good, though I would've taken Mace before Warhammer, simply because the best warhammer in the game doesn't come till very late in the game, and an incredibly useful (upgradeable!) mace comes before that. Plus, I like a ToB mace. |
I was considering taking Mace, but I would've recieved at least 5 opinions on the Crom Faer. Storm Star is a great mace, btw =)
New question. 1. What is better for a Fighter->Druid, Dual Scimitars (Spectral Brand and Water's Talon, initially Belm and Water's Talon) or Spear (Impaler-not the throwing version-until I get Ixil's Nail +6)? |

2. Ok A. Depends what you like, are you a smashing kind of fighter or one who likes to cut up your enemies? B. I'd go with Jan, but if you have a party of six and want a spot for Imoen when you get to the stronghold, I'd go with Yoshimo. |

I knew you'd say that...

Well, would you rather have a weapon that could possibly pin down an opponent or do a bit more damage or two that can stack up poison cumulative damage along with negative plain protection and boosts your THACO?
|
What do you think? :D
I was sure that you'd say Scimitars, though, as you like to talk about your Kensai, who happened to use Water's Talon. Anyway, Poison and Ice are pretty nice (I sound like a Powerpuff Girls commercial...ARGH) together. |
No, it's just when you happen to talk about Scimitars, my Kensai has already used them

Actually, I'd prefer to have Spectral Brand in the main hand, and Belm in the off hand. Much more dangerous combination.
