The Music in BG/IWD/PST etc is brilliant, so i want to listen to these songs when I want, not when the game allows me...

is there any way to extract these songs? or is there a player?
I have spent the better part of one evening searching for these things, but have only found .bif-extractors which won't help me any further...

If you download Napster at www.napster.com you can search for BG songs. I've done it before and I managed to get quite a few songs from there http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Don't bother using Napster - it is virtually useless now. Obtain a program called Morpheus from http://www.musiccity.com. You will be able to get BG mp3's here.

but why bother with large mp3-downloads? is there no way to play the sound files FROM THE GAME?

certain console games have something like a "sound test"-option. I was thinking if there were any programs out there in webland which could play the .acm-files from the game?
